  Tulku Damcho Rinpoche is the reincarnation of Lama Tsoknyi recognized by His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche. Lama Tsoknyi was one of the many great monks at Thrangu Tashi Choling in Tibet. He was famous for his accomplishment of performing 2000 Nyungnes. He benefited others through the Nyungne practice by convening  6000 Nyungnes. He also  created new retreat facilities, renovated old temples and engaged in other activities that served to beautify the  teachings. Through these, extraordinary experience and realization were born in him.

Tulku Damcho Rinpoche was born in Nepal and received monastic vows at Thrangu Tashi Choling in Nepal at an early age. In 2007, he completed the traditional three year retreat and a one year Kalachakra retreat.
